Meet Ann Stautz
Mother, Teacher, Author, & Creator Of TeachSitter

I am excited to bring TeachSitter to parents & educators. I grew up in Cleveland, Ohio to parents that were both teachers. I attended the University of Notre Dame graduating with 2 degrees with a BA in Art History & a BA in Art Studio.  I have 3 kids of my own ranging in age from college to middle school. I am an art teacher in Dallas and have been involved in education since my graduation from college. My teaching pursuit over the last 10 years has specifically been with elementary school children. I consider this period to be the most important and formative period in a person’s life.  It is such a great honor to teach and babysit children at this age because it forms children and lays a foundation for academic, social, and emotional success.
